From an article by The Associated Press: …
A woman is suing Montgomery advertiser Obits for violating her privacy.
The suit says that in late 2015, the company told her to delete emails sent to her that were deemed inappropriate.
In January 2016, the lawsuit says Obits told her the messages were not inappropriate but had been removed from the site.
It alleges that after the lawsuit was filed, Obits began deleting the emails.
The company did not respond to a request for comment on Thursday.
Obits has been the target of at least six other lawsuits alleging that it failed to protect women from sexist content.
