The future of online business is all but certain, according to a survey by a Japanese company that found that 84% of respondents think the internet is the future.
The survey, conducted by Nippon Ichi Software, surveyed 2,700 people across Japan and found that 76% believe that the internet has become more connected and powerful than ever before.
But the survey also showed that only 10% of the Japanese surveyed think the company will grow its business in the next five years.
That’s not much of a surprise given that, until recently, Japanese companies had been unable to gain traction on the internet due to the country’s strict copyright laws.
The study also found that only about 15% of Japanese said that online commerce is becoming more accessible.
Nippon has been struggling to build a foothold in Japan ever since it was founded by former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates in 2006.
It now has more than 30,000 employees.
The company said it was looking to create new online stores in the future, and it has recently launched a video platform called Vimeo.
