The Raiders will be the first NFL team to appear on billboards around the country during the team’s annual home opener on Sunday.
It marks the first time a team has appeared on billboards since the Los Angeles Rams appeared on an American Apparel billboard in October 2016.
The Raiders are not the only NFL team that has billboards during the season, as the New England Patriots have also appeared on the NFL Network’s billboards this season.
The billboards are located in cities like Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta and New York City, where the team plays.
The Raiders are scheduled to play at the New York Giants’ MetLife Stadium in Week 2, but it is not yet known when the team will take the field.
The NFL Network, which broadcasts the preseason games on the network, will be on hand on Sunday as a simulcast to show the Raiders’ billboard on a smaller screen than the stadium, with a larger screen for the fans to see.
The team will not be allowed to show their logo or home jerseys on the billboards during game days.
The advertising partnership with American Appaccarels was announced in June, when the league announced the launch of the NFL Apparel program, which will feature NFL logos and other apparel for retailers and brands.
The first American Appattarel ads for the 2017 season will air in the next two weeks.
