In a recent interview with the New York Times, Mark Zuckerberg discussed the importance of ads and how it affects your online experience.
While some of the features of AdBlock Plus were already included in Facebook’s free version, Zuckerberg said that Facebook had also made significant improvements to the AdBlock app to make it more convenient for users.
He explained that a large number of the changes included were designed to make AdBlock’s feature set more user friendly, adding new features like automatic filtering of blocked websites, a new “feature bar” that allows users to set custom filter lists, and a “pop up window” for new content to pop up when users visit a website that does not appear to be blocked.
Zuckerberg also explained that AdBlock now includes a new tool for advertisers to find out whether they are allowed to advertise on their site.
When you install AdBlock, it will show a popup window that shows the website you are visiting.
Users can click on the pop-up to see whether their site is blocked or not.
The AdBlock pop-ups will also indicate which ads are being displayed in the app.
While these new features were added to AdBlock Pro, the free version is still compatible with AdBlock for Windows, Mac, and iOS.
The update to AdBlocks comes at a time when Facebook has faced a number of complaints about its privacy practices, including the way it uses tracking cookies and other technology to track users’ online activity.
While Zuckerberg did not elaborate on what changes had been made to the company’s ad network in response to these complaints, he did say that Facebook was actively working to improve its privacy.
